About:
We are a group of radio operators in northeastern Colorado with the goal of encouraging people to become ham radio operators. We also want to serve our community as Skywarn weather spotters & in emergency communications. We're also working on building a few repeaters in the region. We welcome anyone interested in radio, even if that's walkie-talkies (FRS), CB, MURs, Marine, Shortwave, GMRS, or ham radio.

Club nets are every 3rd Thursday of every month at 7 pm on local SkyhubLink simplex repeaters.

Club meetings are every 3rd Saturday of every month at a location in Sterling or Ft Morgan at 1 pm.

Visiting for the first time?

Clubs welcome unlicensed visitors. You do not need a callsign, a radio, or any experience to attend a meeting — bring your questions and someone will happily answer them.

  • Message the club before you go so someone can look out for you.
  • Ask whether they run a training class or exam session.
  • Ask about their weekly net — you can listen to one before you ever transmit.
